Hi Amy. I am in love with your decorating style. I would love to recreate this room in my living room. I just relocated from FL to Az and have had to start from ground zero. I currently have a light gray couch and matching chair with ottoman. I also purchased the Brimes 70” black tv unit with light gray frosted glass from IKEA and light gray Eket floating wall shelves (3) that I have directly above the TV unit itself. I want to buy the shelving unit you have but don’t know if I should go with the back or the white. I am planning on moving the tv unit and tv to the opposite wall which will allow me to recreate your wall art gallery and have already purchased the rug you linked. Please help. I now know that I definitely love the black and white theme since I also purchased the IKEA white extendable table and black chairs but I think I messed up by buying too much gay. Your guidance is greatly appreciated. I can send you pictures if you would like so you can understand and see what I feel is a dilema. Money is tight for me and I don’t want to continue investing on items that I may get tired of later or not work for me. I love that clean airy feel.

Hi Kellie! The sofa has held up well. The cushions get slouchy with use and need to be fluffed up regularly, that has always been the case, and that’s usually part of the deal with any couches as comfortable as this one.

May I ask now that it’s been a couple years since this was posted I believe…how has your Article sofa held up? I too am hesitant to buy online but the look is just what I’m going for.

Hi Lee! I think a white media cabinet and white rug would look great with your black table and sofa. I’m very partial to black and white :) If you want to warm things up, maybe consider a natural wood for the media cabinet.
